Anyhoo, for those of you who did tune into the episode, firstly, R U OK? That was heavy.
And second, WTH. We were not emotionally prepared for the trauma.
In the ep, we were all hoping/dreaming/living on a prayer that our beloved Klaus (Joseph Morgan) would be saved after sacrificing himself by taking the dark magic from hope.
But no.
Although Elijah (Daniel Gillies) managed to take some of the dark magic for himself, he was only able to give Klaus one more day to spend with his nearest and dearest, including Caroline (Candice King).
When the sun goes down at the end of the day, Klaus and Elijah both head to their untimely death to end dark magic for good.
