It was the drama The Bachelor fans had been waiting all week for: the “difficult decision” that caused Matty J to abruptly stop the rose ceremony.
So when the much-hyped moment was finally set to air on Wednesday night only to be cut to a “to be continued” cliffhanger, many were understandably outraged.
Swarms of viewers have taken to Twitter to unleash their frustration at Channel 10, fuming that they were duped by the reality TV show.

Moments earlier, Simone had noted that the visibly down-cast bachelor didn’t “look like his normal self” as he prepared to divvy out roses to hopeful contestants.
Matty J was then seen taking a series of deep breaths and mysteriously pausing before the camera panned to the concerned reactions from the Bachelorettes.
“Something isn’t right here,” one woman could be heard saying as the episode drew to a close.
