While we were all anticipating Selena Gomez rocking up to the 2018 Met Gala looking like the princess she is, many of us were left shocked about her incredibly dark her tan was.
So much so that people were accusing her of attempting ‘blackface’.
However, we weren’t the only ones turned off by her look. It seems like Selena herself has some serious regret about her entire outfit, as she posts a hilarious video on her Instagram commenting on it.
“Me when I saw my pictures from MET 🤷🏽♀️,” the caption reads. In the video, Selena is running away from the camera. Lol.

Obviously, her loyal fans have rallied behind her in support.
“For those who criticized Selena for what she wore yesterday, ya’ll are trash and don’t deserve to stan her, ya’ll know Selena Gomez ain’t as confident and know that she has gone through so much & for ya’ll to still think it’s okay to talk shit is just ridiculous,” said one fan.
