Sabrina Carpenter is probably the last person you’d expect to get sued, but that’s the game of fame!
Anything is possible.
The Girl Meets World actress, who is right now on The De-Tour, is being sued by her former music managers, Stan Rogow and Elliot Lurie for breach of contract. Apparently, she failed to pay them commissions after they were fired.
Unfortunately, both Sabrina’s parents and her current manager are under fire with this lawsuit too.
The former managers claim that they were hired after Sabrina signed with Bill Perlman, who is the president of talent agency Perlman Management Group.
The complaint states that they each signed a music management agreement in 2011, in which they would earn 50% of Bill Perlman’s commissions.
Shortly after, Sabrina landed a five-album deal with Hollywood Records, and then proceeded to become Maya Hart in GMW.

The two managers were fired in 2014, and now claim they are owed portions of her profits from Eyes Wide Open and Evolution, her two successful albums.
“Plaintiffs worked tirelessly to promote Sabrina and her music until their service were terminated, without cause,” attorney Neville Johnson wrote in the complaint.
Yikes. Poor Sabrina! She has yet to make a statement about the claims.
