Series showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa revealed that the October premiere episode will pay tribute to Luke and his character Fred Andrews.
Roberto tweeted what seems to be the front-page of the premiere’s official script.
He wrote: “Probably the most important episode of #Riverdale we’ll do this year, if not ever. A tribute to our fallen friend. Thankful for this opportunity to honor Luke & Fred.”
Luke sadly passed away after suffering a stroke in March.
The last time we actually saw Perry’s character on the Netflix series was back in April but his missing presence on the show is yet to be addressed.
