The couple have decided to take this next HUGE step in their relationship, only one month after officially dating… and that’s basically why we’re all so shook.
But we’re guessing that nobody is more shook than Pete’s ex-girlfriend Cazzie David, who was dumped like a week before Ariana came into the picture.
In fact, after some internet sleuthing, fans discovered that Ariana got proposed to around June 2nd, when she performed at the Wango Tango event. Then, the $93,000 custom ring took two weeks to make. Meaning, Pete would have had to consider proposing to Ari the same week they began dating… so a lot of people are wondering whether or not there was some cheating going on here.
The exact same day that news broke of the engagement, Cazzie posted an photo of herself holding a glass of red wine. She captioned the pic, “Came here a person, leaving a human bottle of wine.”
One fan wrote, “F*** them, Cazzie. Team Cazzie. Love you Cazzie,” while another wrote, “My unbothered queen.”
Whether she’s reacting to the news or not, it wouldn’t be easy on her to see this all go down so quickly.
