One of Sarah Hyland’s close friends has congratulated her and Wells Adams on their engagement… but nobody even knew they were engaged!
More importantly, are they even engaged?
In an Insta post shared on May 18, the celebrity photographer Yu Tsai posted a picture of himself with Sarah, along with the caption: “Congratulations to my sweet friend @sarahhyland @wellsadams on their engagement… fingers crossed I get invited to the wedding.”
‘Scuse me sir, wtf are you talking about?
Since Sarah Hyland lives on social media, we’re sure we’d know about an engagement. Unless this friend leaked her news before she could.
Shortly after, the post was deleted, and Sarah took to Gossip Cop to reveal that they were definitely not engaged, “They are not engaged,” the publication read.
Way to put the awkward pressure on Wells, Yu!
Earlier in the week, Sarah posted an adorable photo of her and Wells to honour his 34th birthday.
She wrote: “picture was taken three days after three words were exchanged. My smile has only grown, my heart has only deepened, and my world has only gotten better ever since. @wellsadams? You are the most phenomenal man I have ever met and I am the luckiest woman in the world to have you by my side. Thank you for calling me baby even when I’m acting crazy. Happy Birthday Llama! Hey… #toplutoandback#myperson.”
Maybe her friend Yu saw this caption, and the ‘words exchanged’ part as a proposal? But we’re pretty sure those three words would have been ‘I love you’.
Anyway, we’re pretty obsessed with these two being together, so maybe a wedding proposal won’t be too far down the road anyway!
