Look, we loved the Jonas Brothers, you loved the Jonas Brothers, glad we got that out of the way before tackling their prophetic AF banger from 2006.
It’s been twelve years since the aesthetically perfect band of brothers released their hella catchy tune, Year 3000, but people are speculating if the JoBros were actually letting us know about global warming.
Is it possible we were missing the true meaning of what the lyrics were about??
If for some outrageous reason you haven’t listened to the song in a while, they rock out whilst singing about jumping in a time machine which takes them to the year 3000.
In the future, everyone is now living underwater. Polar ice caps melting, water levels rising; it could deffs be a possibility.
Considering global warming wasn’t hitting our media until 2008, they would have done some serious crystal ball work.
Here’s the REAL news, though. Year 3000 is actually a COVER!!
So, we’re gonna say that Kevin, Joe and Nick bought the song to a whole other level, but it was actually originally written and released in 2002 by boyband, Busted.
Mind. Blown.
