Nicki Minaj has officially changed the name of her fandom and NOBODY saw it coming!
The rapper dropped the bombshell on Monday with a shady Tweet directed at the media, telling them that her fans are now known as “The Kingdom,” not Barbz.
Understandably, her Barbz Kingdom freaked the HELL out because clearly no one even knew this was a thing, it literally came outta nowhere!
Nicki herself even responded to the confusion. Here’s what she said to a fan who isn’t too happy about how it sounds to say “I’m a barb” vs “I’m a kingdom.”
And when another fan asked if this means her fans are now just “peasants,” she clarified:
Um, ok. How do you guys feel about the fandom name change??
