Married At First Sight 2020 has been the wildest series YET, with cheating scandals, #toothbrushgate, and so much more that we never even saw on TV.
However, thanks to the very naughty contestants, we’ve been gifted with them basically ALL breaking their contracts.

However, it doesn’t come without consequence!
Bride Natasha Spencer has revealed to The Daily Mail Australia exactly what those consequences are, and Jesus! They’re harsh!!
“I am so proud of my co-stars for going rogue. I’m not going to lie, I’m all for it!” she revealed.
This year the stars have leaked secrets from set, spoiled storylines before they aired on TV, and ALL berated the Nine producers for treating them like “animals”, as Natasha told WHO.com.au.
“When there’s a state of anarchy, I think they just give up,” Natasha joked of the Nine Network.
“When I mentioned I left MAFS for my mental health, I was like ‘what are you going to do, say I breached contract and sue me?'” she said, revealing a conversation she had with a producer.
Natasha continued: “[The producer] goes, ‘no, we’re just going to take off our arranged publicity… what can I sue you for? You’ve all broken contract’.”
Nine have allegedly pulled most publicity for the stars that broke their contracts, however, Natasha admits she doesn’t care.
“Instead, now I do my own paid publicity. I used to show up to places for free, but now I get to organise my own publicity and make money.”
The downside? “They took my little GIFs of Instagram, which is the only thing I’m annoyed about.”
One of the other brides who broke contract very early on in the season was Poppy Jennings when she got her owl lawyers involved.
“I have seen lawyers so I can say everything I want to say without fear of defamation,” she began. “I am working towards being able to tell the truth because it doesn’t sit well with me to shut my mouth over something this serious.”
The most interesting part is the fact that Poppy says she was “dragged out” of the room when she decided to open up to her fellow brides about an incident directly involving her and ex-husband Luke. She described it as “terrifying”.
“The times I had said what he did on camera was never going to be shown,” she began. “The girls started asking me questions about why I left and I started to get upset on camera. Then I got dragged out, told off, and wasn’t allowed to talk about what happened with Luke because it was too controversial. I could never say my truth.”
“We were sleep-deprived, we had everything we owned taken from us, we were spoken to like pieces of sh*t,” she told The Daily Telegraph.
To make matters worse, Mishel said the warehouse they used for filming was “teeming with cockroaches”, the cast was “rarely fed” and she wasn’t allowed water at the dinner parties. She even recalled being forced to wait for ice in her glass to melt so she could rehydrate.
Horrific!
Natasha echoed these statements when she spoke exclusively to WHO.com.au last week, revealing that she was living in disgusting conditions.
“It was f***ing putrid. They sit us on these hard plastic chairs in this dirty tent for hours and refuse to give us any reading material unless you ask. One time, I was wearing a white dress and I left with it literally being black,” Natasha said. “It’s not right. I live in a first world country and I’d like to at least sit on a comfortable chair.”
She added how the warehouse where the dinner parties and reunion special was filmed had no air-conditioning, with producers lighting fires in the room for ambiance, despite her and the others feeling dizzy and sick.
“It was 40 degrees in an uninsulated warehouse and it was so hot that Chris [Nicholls] got pulled off-set because he had sweated through his whole shirt and needed a dry one,” she revealed. “It was so f***ing hot I split the seam in my $1,000 dress because the beading and silk were literally wet from sweat.”
“I was screaming at them to get the fans. I was literally eating icy polls and trying to cool my body down in the freezer. It’s just absolutely f***ed and it’s not right.”
Even worse than the heat was the food situation, which Natasha explains was atrocious.
“They give you fried rice that has been sitting around for god knows how long. I am gluten-free and they never served gluten-free food so I used to have to go down and get chips from the vending machine,” she revealed. “There was even one night where Vanessa [Romito] got fed nothing because they had forgotten about her food intolerances.”
