Last night’s episode of Married At First Sight saw more of the bride’s home visits which mostly went well, but was ridden with an underlying theme of money that didn’t sit well with many fans.

Elizabeth Sobinoff’s mother Gillian has been slammed by critics who say she as treating Seb Guilhaus unfairly, after grilling him about his lifestyle and if he will be able to support her daughter.
“I don’t know many women who rely on a man for financial stability these days, Lizzie’s mum must still be living in a bygone era,” tweeted one fan.
“If I ever feel the need to ask my daughter’s partners what their financial prospects are I will have failed as their Dad. Save for their health their independence is the one thing I want for them,” wrote another.
“FFS these women and their parents who are acting like villagers in the Middle Ages expecting men to ‘have a deposit’. Evolve and get your own career… What’s next? Two cows needed for the virgin bride?” added another.
Lizzie’s mum got really stuck into Seb during the dinner, berating him for his job as a personal trainer and builder.
“How much does that pay? Not much,” she said to Seb, who was clearly offended.
“You need to earn a lot of money hanging around Lizzie,” she told him, adding, “She’s not cheap.”
It made fans question the parents and how they raised Lizzie rather than look down on Seb.
“If you can’t keep up ‘the lifestyle you’re accustomed to’, adjust to a new lifestyle. One within your means. Lizzie’s mum’s attitude is embarrassing in this day and age,” tweeted another MAFS fan.
Another added: “Okay, but Seb shouldn’t have to ‘take care’ of you, Lizzie. You’re 30 years old, pull your head in.”
It came after Michael Goonan got a look inside his wife Stacey Hampton’s home, pointing out her lavish lifestyle of designer handbags, shoes, jewellery and cars. He even pointed out that the mother-of-two doesn’t work to sustain her lifestyle.
But the kicker was Stacey asking her husband or a credit card.
One person tweeted: “Stacey asking Michael for a credit card… doesn’t she have a job that can provide herself a credit card on her own?”
But it didn’t end there! KC Osborne has been clashing with her husband Drew Brauer over their differing lifestyles, with KC being accustomed to more material things.
The 31-year-old said she was “insulted” when he accused her of being a “materialistic, superficial, Instagram girl” – but told him that he must pay for dinners when they go on dates, claiming it’s the “man’s job”.
Drew claims that he wanted equality in the relationship, saying he “doesn’t care about status, fame or money”.
