Holding out hope that Married At First Sight might actually produce love this year? Get rid of it! One couple we all wanted to go the distance was Ivan Sarakula and Aleksandra Markovic. But now, it’s all over.

The pair have been strong since the start of the show, however, Aleks has just confirmed on Instagram that they ended… on VERY bad terms.
A paparazzi photo of Aleks and Ivan on a double date with former MAFS couple Stacey Hampton and Michael Goonan was posted on MAFS Funny yesterday.
“I just vomited,” Stacey commented.
Aleks then commented, saying: “I’m feeling ill as well what were we thinking?”
“as if we were seen with that. Hahaha f**k sake. I blame lack of sleep,” Stacey wrote back.
“we must have been losing our minds! Or maybe just falling for the f**k boy lies and manipulation,” Aleks responded.
Fans were understandably upset! They were more pissed off that Aleks spoilted the ending though.
“Is there any point in watching anymore seeing as none of them can keep their mouths shut and keep ruining it for those of us who sorts cared a bit 🤷♀️,” one user commented on the post.
“Aren’t they all meant to have contracts so they don’t talk and comment on things and give away the whole show? Loose lips this season 😂 Making a (bigger) mockery of the whole show,” another person wrote.
“What the actual f**k is wrong with them? Why can’t they keep their mouths shut? The worst cast they’ve ever had. The most immature! This season has just been a complete shit show. Everyone has gone rogue. Pretty much know everything that happens before it happens,” a different user quipped.
“Ugh literally the worst season. This is so lame. If you’re going to go on a reality tv show that is purely created for the sake of entertaining Australia and you’re going to end up getting the media attention you sought out, the sponsored Instagram posts & parties etc then why not stick to your end of the deal and not spoil shit for everyone who invests 4 hours a week watching it for months on end, just like they would have done themselves before being participants. @channel9 and @mafs have done the shittest job this year of keeping all of the participants from spoiling the show for everyone else.”
Aleks has actually been dropping hints that the pair aren’t together anymore for weeks.
Recently, she told WHO magazine that she struggled with Ivan’s two different personalities.
“When it was just us two alone, he was amazing – I couldn’t fault him, he treated me like a princess,” she told WHO. “But in social settings, especially around other women, I felt quite degraded, like I wasn’t enough for him. I’ve told him multiple times but a leopard doesn’t change its spots.”
She also said it living with Ivan took a lot of effort.
“For me, it was really challenging moving in together,” she told Talking Married host Shelly Horton. “I’ve never lived with a man before, so he was good actually. He did all the washing for us… he did all the domestic chores actually. I just slept all the time, it was great. So I was like, ‘Yeah, I could live with this man, this is good!’ In terms of household living together, there were no issues at all.”
