In a teaser for an upcoming episode of her new reality show, Mama June: From Not To Hot, Mama June says an emotional farewell to her daughters before she heads off to get the life-changing surgery.
As she prepares to leave for California for the skin removal surgery, she tearfully says goodbye to her daughters, Honey Boo Boo and Pumpkin.
“This has been a long journey for me, and my kids are part of giving me a second chance in this whole transformation,” she says.
“I’m always emotional when I leave the girls. I’m going to be leaving them for three weeks, and going into this surgery without them by my side is going to be really hard.”
In another sneak preview of the series, the reality star reveals that she’s down from 450lbs (204kg) to an insane 199lbs (90kg), which she achieved through a combination of surgeries, working out and healthy eating.
The journey is about getting Mama’s health back on track and, of course, to get her confidence back, and it sounds like it’s working.
