Mirror Online published the article that read, “Drugs, Meltdowns and ‘Gay Sex’ Rumours—How ‘Rivalry and Hatred’ Tore One Direction Apart.”

The article made it clear that the band had a drinking, partying, smoking and drug problem, which is what led to Zayn’s departure – so they claimed.

It also touched on the rumours that Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson were a couple, writing that “the ‘Larry Stylinson’ fan fiction” had “pushed them apart.”

Louis was quick to call them out.

“Biggest load of bullshit I’ve seen in a while,” he wrote on Twitter. “Typical unprovoked venom from The Mirror. Couldn’t be further from the truth.”

If you’re a long-time follower of One Direction, chances are you’re aware of the #Larry conspiracy theory.

But Louis has constantly denied the rumours, in 2012 writing, “Larry is the biggest load of bullshit I’ve ever heard.”

Louis also took to Twitter after HBO’s show Euphoria displayed a fan-fic inspired sex scene between Harry and Louis, saying that he “was not contacted nor did I approve it.”

It didn’t stop Louis from celebrating the milestone of One Direction though, tweeting,

“So many incredible memories. Days like today are days for reflection, so proud looking back! Thank you for ALWAYS having our backs! Big love to the lads! #9YearsOfOneDirection”
