Suddenly, X Factor has sky-high ratings, and that’s all thanks to the gazillions of One Direction fans tuning in to see Louis Tomlinson join the panel of judges.
But we weren’t READY for his revelation about his time with One Direction.
When a boy band took to the stage to audition, Louis revealed that he, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik didn’t actually like the name of their band.
“You know the thing is with a name, I don’t think any of us were ever a massive fan of One Direction,” he said the boys from ‘No Labels’. “If you think about the name, it’s a pretty corny name.”
How dare he!
Of course, 1D fans were quick to jump on Twitter to react to Louis’ statement.
After ‘No Labels’ performed, Louis didn’t stop the savagery.
According to Metro U.K., after Simon Cowell admitted he didn’t like the audition, Louis said, “Everything we’ve just seen is almost everything we were trying to avoid in One Direction. Was that too harsh?”
Honestly, sassy Louis is out to play and we can’t wait to see what else he comes up with during the season.
