UPDATE TUESDAY 4 JULY:
After leaked audio of Jack Gilinsky verbally abusing Madison Beer found its way online, the internet blew up with rage.
Now, Jack has released an official statement online, both apologising and confirming that it was actually him.
“There’s no justifying the words that came out of my mouth in that audio file. In no way do I stand behind who I was in that part of my life. But people change & learn from their mistakes. the clip you’ve all heard is from last year. I was in a very dark place, & clearly had no control over my emotions. It’s painful for me because most people think that this clip is current & is an accurate representation of where Madison & I stand today, when that is far from the truth.
“Like any couple, Mad & I have had our fair share of ups & downs, this clip specifically being one of our lowest points, Madison knew if she didn’t help me overcome my ways and change, no one would, & I would never learn from my mistakes. I’ll never be able to thank her enough for believing in me the way she did during that time.”
ORIGINAL STORY MONDAY 3 JULY:
There has been some unsettling audio leaked online over the weekend, which involves Jack Gilinsky verbally abusing Madison Beer while they were still a couple.
Although the source who leaked the audio is unclear, it’s pretty disturbing, and has made its way all around Twitter.
In the audio, you can hear Madison crying while defending herself, after Jack calls her a sl**.
“You’re not my boyfriend anymore,” she tells him, after he calls her such derogatory terms.
“No no no no that’s the thing, I don’t want to be your boyfriend anymore,” he says, before she tells him to “go away.”
Then, he continues to call her a sl**, multiple times.
Soon after, an unknown girl steps in and scolds him for the way he is talking to her. “The things you are saying to your girlfriend are out of control.”
It’s later in the audio tape that the supposed reason behind the argument comes up. Jack apparently turned on some music, and Madison said it was “sh** music,” which offended him…
“I was joking!” Madison yells back.
The argument sparked a lot of tension online with fans, who even started the hashtag #JackGilinskyIsOverParty.
