The whole world is LIVID at Kanye West for those offensive slavery comments he made on TMZ but his fam is standing by him, including Momager Kris Jenner.
First, his mother-in-law defended him during her appearance on The Ellen Show:
“You know, Kanye has a lot of love for all of you, all of his fans, and everybody who’s been there to support him forever. And, I know that he will explain himself in his own way. And I think that anything he does — and I just think this is important to say is — he always does things with really good intentions. So, I’m gonna let him explain himself when the time’s ready and I just keep rolling on.”
Now, she has taken to Instagram in the lead-up to the Met Gala to share a photo where she can be seen holding the rapper’s hand.
“Met Gala flashback! So excited for tonight! Happy Met Gala Monday everyone 💋 #MetGala#MetGala2018 #family #love,” she captioned the image.
Meanwhile, his wife Kim Kardashian is reportedly mortified over what he said in the media.
“Kim was really upset that Kanye chose to have a very serious discussion in a place like that,” a source told Us Weekly. “And because she wasn’t given a heads up about it beforehand.”
“Kanye shared a lot of his passionate words, which was important to him but had they been said in a different setting and time, they would have come across in a different way,” the insider added. “A lot of things he said were very serious. If he had said them in different, more planned out way it would be a different story, even positive.”
