Are you guys ready to see KJ Apa play a character other than Archie? Well ya better be ‘coz he’s just signed on to the new flick The Last Summer!
The Riverdale star is set to play the love interest of Aussie babe Maia Mitchell in the romantic comedy from Gulfstream Pictures.
Deadline reports that the movie “follows a group of high school grads whose lives intersect in Chicago over the summer before they start college.”
Maia will play Phoebe, a budding filmmaker who is shooting the doco about her squad.
Mike Karz (one of the powers that be at the production company) recently gushed about our mate KJ.
“KJ is one of today’s most talented and sought-after young stars both here and abroad, and we are excited to announce that he will lead our ensemble cast,” Karz said.
The Last Summer hits Netflix TONIGHT!!!
