Photos from The Shade Room recently came out that have put Kendall and Kylie Jenner in a really awkward position.
Apparently, the girls were facing eviction from their New York office for their Kendall + Kylie clothing line, after not paying rent.
According to the eviction notice that was posted on the door, “Tenant is justly indebted to Landlord for rent and additional rent for the period from December 1, 2017 through and including March 1, 2018.”
The notice claimed that they owed a whopping $57,395.
However, after the news went wild online, it’s come out that it’s all been a huge mixup!
In a statement from Reality LCC, the leasing company that represents the building Kendall and Kylie have their showroom in, they clarify that the eviction notice was posted by mistake.
“The Kendall+Kylie showroom in NY has not been issued an eviction notice by our company,” they said to Seventeen.com. “There was a mis-communication due to a change in invoice procedures that lead to this confusion.”
To add to it, they reveal that Kendall and Kylie are amazing tenants. “We apologise for any negative press the Kendall + Kylie brand has received,” the rep continued. “They have always been respectful and in good standing tenants.”
Yikes.
