Katherine Langford got her huge break when she was cast as the main star of Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why, but she’s already going to take a break from it all.
Season two hasn’t even aired yet, but Katherine has decided that music is the way to go for her.
Speaking to W Magazine, Katherine opened up about her bold new move. “In the next few months for me I’m taking just a second to hone my skills and to write some music because fundamentally that’s where I come from.”
Back in 2013, Katherine posted videos of herself singing original songs on YouTube, so it’s clear that she’s always had a passion for music. However, her channel hasn’t been updated in 5 years.
Amazing, right?
Although it won’t be the last we see of Katherine on screen either. She has only just finished wrapping up her promo for Love, Simon, and has an upcoming movie Spontaneous set for release soon.
“I want to take risks and challenges, and wait for a piece that inspires me like these two have,” she revealed.
