Alrighty peeps, you can add one more name to the list of celebs who hate Justin Bieber: One Marilyn Manson.
The Biebs wore the rocker’s band tees during his Purpose World Tour which totally ticked off loads of ~rock~ fans ‘coz JB is a pop artist, not a rock artist.
Justin even rebranded one of Manson’s tees with the additional print: “Bigger Than Satan … Bieber” and sold it for $195 on Barneys’ website.
The t-shirt designer claimed that the rocker had approved of the collab with JB.
“#thankyou @marilynmanson for signing off on the “Bigger than Satan” x #jb tee,” he wrote on Instagram.
“Thanks for understanding our approach and re-interpretation of your vision… 🙏🏽 …never would of thought printing on my vintage t-shirt collection would take us this far! @barneysny #thewardrobecollection.”
But in a new interview with Consequence of Sound, the ~controversial~ rocker slammed the Biebs, claiming that he was using his tees before asking for permission and was rude AF when they met.
“He was [already] wearing the shirt that had his name on my shirt, and he said to me, ‘I made you relevant again.’ Bad mistake to say to me,” said Manson.
After the stranger encounter, the 48-year-old decided to burn him back.
“The next day I told him I’d be at his soundcheck at Staples Center to do [a cover of his song] ‘Beautiful People’ … [Bieber] believed that I’d show up, because he was that stupid.”
Marilyn claims he never planned on actually showing up lel.
When Manson’s peeps decided to contact Justin’s peeps to ask for dollar, dollar bills for all the merch sales from the Marilyn x Justin tees, JB’s peeps immediately paid out.
But despite the collab, Marilyn confirms that he is not, and never will be a Belieber.
Quite the opposite, actually.
“He was a real piece of sh*t in the way he had the arrogance to say that. He was a real touchy-feely guy, too, like, ‘Yo yo bro!’ and touches you when he’s talking. I’m like, you need to stand down. Alright?”
Yikes!
