It’s nearly the end of the year so all the usual controversial people are doing their best to make as much drama happen before 2019.
Today’s focus is on makeup artist James Charles, who frequently makes comments about celebrities that doesn’t sit well with fans.
Just like when he sexually harassed Shawn Mendes and made him super uncomfortable, he has now gone on Live with his fans and commented on Harry Styles’ sexuality.
Here’s what he said: “I would love to do a video with Harry Styles, and sit with him and talk about like, his music and like, One Direction and like, everything he has going on, and like, um, all his amazing songs that have been coming out, and like, the sexuality situation… that he’s been talking… and like, hinting at. Kinda fun.”

The “sexuality situation” that James thinks Harry has been “hinting at” is referring to Harry’s complete support for the LGBTQ+ community, which he has frequently shown by waving the rainbow flag around during his concerts.
While he is a known advocate and has never felt the need to address his own sexuality, fans concern comes from James pushing a label onto him which isn’t something Harry thinks is necessary.
After the immense backlash, James apologised.
“when I mentioned harry on live, I meant no harm when I said I’d love to do a video w him about his music, career & life. I’ve seen amazing videos with lgbtq flags + lyrics & admire how talented & open he is, but didn’t realise he wasn’t addressing his sexuality. I’m sorry 🙁.”
