In the wildest news we’ve ever heard, last week 13 Reasons Why star Ross Butler had his name involved in an attempted murder case, involving Frances Bean Cobain’s ex-husband Isaiah Silva.

You’re right to be confused, but there was a lengthy explanation which you can read here.
In a nutshell, Frances has been trying to get her father Kurt Cobain’s MTV Unplugged guitar off Isaiah, which he has had since their separation.
In doing so, Frances and her mum Courtney Love supposedly got a group of men together – including Ross – and had them dress up as police officers and go to Isaiah’s house. After breaking in, Isaiah describes how they tortured and kidnapped him.
While Ross has yet to respond to these crazy allegations, it starts to seem a little suspect when you see that he and Courtney are like, really close.
So close that he has even brought her to multiple 13 Reasons Why red carpet events.

Last year, in an interview with Vulture, he explained how they’re such good friends, clarifying that “a good friend of mine is her manager.”
He elaborated, “he was like, ‘Hey, do you wanna meet Courtney Love?’ and I said sure. She and I just clicked really well. She’s super educated, like a walking encyclopedia. She’s just decided to keep me around, and has been my mentor and my big sister ever since.”
As for the accusations, MTV Australia reached out to Courtney Love about the reports, who responded with a statement. “It’s baseless and nonsense,” Courtney said via Twitter.
Well, we guess we’ll have to wait and see if anything else pans out from these accusations. But for now, we refuse to believe that loveable Zach Dempsey would do such a thing. And yes, we’re completely, 100% bias to his character.
