Word of warning: don’t come for Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik’s relationship.
Because the pair broke up and got back together, many fans are having a hard time to believe that their connection is real.
And they’re being very vocal about it on social media.
Just recently, an account on Instagram named @exposingfakeeasszigiii alleged that Zayn and Gigi are only back together “for promo”.
They added, “Fact is that Zayn is not going to follow Gigi or ever going to post her picture on his Instagram again.”
Zayn unfollowed Gigi when they split up earlier in the year.
Well, Gigi was NOT having it.
“I don’t need his follow my eyes are tattooed on his chest,” she wrote, referencing the tattoo of Gigi’s eyes Zayn has on his chest.
DAMN.
“The energy you put into this does not serve you or your life in any way kids,” she added. “You guys can call it promo but I just post about my boyfriend like anyone else, whether I support Z or he supports me is out of love and excitement for one another. There’s nothing to figure out all the time… give it a break.”
Another user then told Gigi that she should have just DM’d the fan instead of putting them on blast like that.
“I’m sorry if it came off immature, I’m just trying to open a dialogue so people understand that their words are hurtful and not just an ‘anonymous confession,'” Gigi explained.
“This internet culture is cruel and does not serve a greater purpose. It’s not about anyone standing up for me or about this taking time away from fans that support me, if people that run/follow this account don’t want to believe me or take my advice it’s fine…. But one day some of you will look back and realize that sending so much negative energy to others is a waste of life.”
Maybe it’s time to just let Gigi and Zayn be together in peace.
