Last Friday Harry Styles returned to the music world with a new song (AND VIDEO) “Light’s Up”.

WATCH: Harry Styles has an orgy in his new music video for “Lights Up”

The music video was a beautiful piece of art that mainly showed a wet and naked Harry dancing very sexually with a bunch of different people.

It showed his fluidity quite literally throughout the whole thing, which is something the singer has always been pretty comfortable with… however, fans are claiming it to be his ‘coming out‘ track as bisexual.

Back in September, Harry told Rolling Stone that his new album was all about “having sex and feeling sad.”

Some of the lyrics in “Light’s Out” include:

What do you mean?
I’m sorry by the way
Never coming back down
Can’t you see?
I could, but wouldn’t stay
Wouldn’t put it like that
What do you mean?
I’m sorry by the way
I’m never coming around
It’d be so sweet if things just stayed the same
La-da-da-da-da

It’s a pretty well-known fact that Harry isn’t one to talk about his love life. However, fans noticed the song was released on National Coming Out Day, which is recognised in America, and England… where he is from.

We’re going to assume that it’s the half-naked sweaty dancing with men that are making fans believe Harry is making a statement, although it doesn’t necessarily mean anything.

But there are lyrics that outline a change in Harry’s life. He sings: “Never coming back down” and “It’d be so sweet if things stayed the same,” which could refer to him entering a new chapter in his life.

All the lights couldn’t put out the dark
Runnin’ through my heart
Lights up and they know who you are
Know who you are
Do you know who you are?

Living a life in the dark could be referring to the years Harry had to conform to a certain image, especially while in One Direction. We can assume that Harry has been asking himself who he really is for a long time for himself to finally understand it.

Shine, step into the light
Shine, so bright sometimes
Shine, I’m not ever going back
Shine, step into the light
Shine, so bright sometimes
Shine, I’m not ever going back
Shine, step into the light
Shine, so bright sometimes
Shine, I’m not ever (Oh)

We mean, these lyrics are pretty self-explanatory! Stepping into the light after hiding in the dark for so long can be Harry’s way of not only encouraging himself but others, to finally be themselves and revel in it!

The music video is certainly a good way to complement the lyrics. Harry is finally being himself, living the way he wants, singing the way he wants, dressing the way he wants.

If it means he is bisexual then GREAT. If it doesn’t, then it’s also fine.

One thing Harry has always been certain of is that he doesn’t like to define, or label anything

This song is just another beautiful way he has expressed those views.
