Last year, three women came forward with claims that Gossip Girl alum Ed Westwick had sexually assaulted them.
Following the accusations, production of Westwick’s future projects were halted. The BBC chose not to air his special Ordeal by Innocence and filming of his other series White Gold was also cancelled.
Months later, the British actor has been spotted out and about with his girlfriend Jessica Serfaty.
“Ed was wearing a suit and a tan coat and Jessica had a cool outfit on,” an eyewitness told Us Weekly. “They were sitting at a table by the bar and were totally in their own world kissing, touching and giggling while eating sushi.”
The insider added: “No one really bothered them and they just seemed super into each other and looked like they didn’t have a care in the world. They were just enjoying the night!”
In the midst of the allegations, Serfaty released a statement about her famous boyfriend to media outlet Radar Online, hinting that Westwick will take “legal action” against his alleged victims as she claims that “he didn’t do it.”
“I can’t imagine him not taking legal action [against his accusers],” she said. “People should pay the price for their actions.”
Serfaty also admitted that she and her Gossip Girl star boyfriend were “looking for wedding rings” but have held off on engagement plans due to the controversy.
“We were discussing it, but I can’t imagine getting married now with everything happening,” she said.
“Until everything is settled, we are not getting married.”
