The iconic ‘90s film Clueless is being turned into a musical and the producers have done a hella good job at casting the lead of Cher Horowitz. She’s a total Betty.
Former Disney star Dove Cameron will be donning an Alaïa to portray the blonde beauty Cher in the off-Broadway musical.

Dove announced the news on Instagram with the caption: “life is about to get very yellow and very plaid and i am #totallybuggin 📒💅🏻🌹”
Clueless came out in 1995 and starred Alicia Silverstone as wealthy high schooler Cher. The film was very loosely based on Jane Austen’s novel Emma and it left us with soooo many quotable lines.
And it also introduced us to a fetus Paul Rudd. Enough said.
The even better news is that the musical adaptation is being written by the screenwriter who wrote the original film so it’s gonna be good.
This won’t be Dove’s first live musical either. The 22-year-old played Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray Live! in 2016.
