Remember when that photo-gone-wrong of Demi Lovato went viral and basically took over the Internet back in 2015?
ICYMI, fans made up a random af conspiracy theory that the girl in the unfortunate paparazzi shot was Demi’s twin sister called Poot Lovato, who had been locked up in a basement and the memes were NEXT LEVEL.
The whole thing got so big that the singer’s “sister” even ended up with her own Twitter account and Wikipedia page! Demi herself has always been pretty against the bizarre frenzy (for obvious reasons), blaming the pic on “bad angles and light,” but she has FINALLY decided to embrace Poot!
Demi basically broke Twitter when — out of nowhere — she tweeted this hilarious Poot GIF. She didn’t write anything along with the GIF but it looks like after nearly two years, she’s a converted fan!
And the Internet is ~loving~ it…
And now the memes are back with a vengeance!
DEAD! Demi’s post already has over 48k retweets and more than 100k likes so it’s safe to say everyone’s pretty happy right now.
