Cole Sprouse has just discovered one of the unfortunate sides of being a celeb: old cringey interviews ALWAYS come back to haunt you.

The Riverdale star somehow stumbled upon something he said back in his Suite Life of Zack and Cody days and not only is it awks af but it’s actually pretty offensive to girls (and guys) everywhere.
“I like a girl who is down-to-earth and doesn’t get worked up over anything — not the kind of girl who is so worried about how she looks that she has to put on pounds of makeup,” an 11-year-old Cole said at the time. Yeah, not great.
Luckily, he realises he was just young and naive and he’s now apologised in the most Cole way possible.
“Do you ever stay up tormented by something you said a long time ago?” Cole tweeted, along with a pic of the embarrassing quote. “Lol yeah me neither I was just asking.”
It’s ok Cole, we forgive you. Tyreesha on the other hand might not be so forgiving…
