Yesterday, pregnant rapper Cardi B totally SLAYED the Met Gala, but according to new reports it was her security that were doing all the slaying – literally!
Radar Online reports that members of Cardi B’s security team allegedly assaulted a fan who approached Cardi to get her signature after the Met Gala.
“Last night around 2:15 in the morning in front of 25 East 77th Street police received a call for an assault,” Detective Brown of the NYPD told Radar.
The detective says that the fan was attempting “to seek an autograph” from the female rapper when he “claimed he was assaulted and pushed to the ground.”
The injured fan was then rushed to New York Presbyterian Hospital for non-life threatening injuries, including neck and back pain.
Police also revealed that Cardi B’s entourage “fled the scene.”
It is currently “unknown” as to how many suspects there are and if they are male or female.
The NYPD has confirmed that the case is still under investigation.
