It’s rare for Billie Eilish to open up about the personal aspects of her life, but she has decided to delve a little deeper for her recent interview with Vogue.

The singer candidly discussed her mental health, pinpointing particular moments of her life that led her into a depression a few years ago.
“A dance injury, a toxic friend group, and a romantic relationship with someone who treated her poorly,” was the explanation.
At some point, she even engaged in “self-injurious” behaviour, but she didn’t discuss that any further. “When people ask me what I’d say to somebody looking for advice on mental health, the only thing I can say is patience,” she said, explaining how she got through it all. “I had patience with myself. I didn’t take that last step. I waited. Things fade.”
Billie’s private life is a mystery to the world, but this isn’t the first time she has opened up with snippets about herself. The singer has previously opened up about how her “body dysmorphia” issues also led to her mental health problems.
She has explained how being forced into wearing “tiny clothes” was “the peak of my body dysmorphia,” she told Rolling Stone in August. “I couldn’t look in the mirror at all.”
