In the days following Avicii‘s untimely passing, celebs and fans have taken to social media to express their sorrow over this tragic loss.
Meanwhile, social media users have searched through the late DJ’s Instagram and Twitter accounts to find his final posts and they’re actually so heartbreaking.
The 28-year-old had taken to Twitter to express his gratitude over being nominated for Top Dance/Electronic Album at the Billboard Music Awards.
“Thanks for the nomination! @billboard #BBMAS,” he tweeted.
He also shared a snap from his California vacay and captioned the pic:
“🌞🌫It’s always sunny in California🌫🌞.”
The musician was found dead in Oman at age 28. His rep released a statement to Us Weekly confirming the news.
“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii,” the statement reads.
“He was found dead in Muscat, Oman, this Friday afternoon local time, April 20th. The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given.”
