Ariel Winter responds to comments about using drugs to lose weight

"Coke/meth was a controversial decision but she stands by it."

Ariel Winter has been in the spotlight for a very long time, from a very young age.  In doing so, she’s had to deal with the public constantly commenting on her body.

In 2016, she was criticised for showing off her breast reduction surgery scars at the SAG Awards, and most recently she was slammed for holding a glass of champagne at New Years Eve.

Ariel is only 20, so some people called her out in the comments. “Drinking underage! Very bad! Lol,” wrote one fan.

“honestly anything acidic kills my stomach so I really just held his because I didn’t want to be the only one toasting with water… lol.” Ariel responded.

However, one fan took it a step further by saying the underage drinking wasn’t even the worst part. Her drug use was.

“Not half as bad as all the coke/meth she uses. She literally dropped 30 ponds.”

.

Ariel quickly clapped back.

“yup… I dropped 30 bodies of water so fast…

“and yes!! My psychiatrist switched me from my previous antidepressant that didn’t work and made me gain weight, to coke/meth!! Definitely not a new one that worked and then regulated my metabolism. Coke/meth was a controversial decision but she stands by it. 🎉”

.

But her clap back didn’t stop fans from continuing to accuse her of using illegal drugs.

“Not hating. You’re actually gorgeous. But pills and nose candy go hand in hand with Hollywood. Enjoy yourself, but don’t get ruined by it,” one fan wrote.

“She won’t,” said another. “She’s living the Hollywood dream. She drinks, smokes and experiments. You people forget that is what people like her do.”

She replied, “…thanks for the compliment…? I’m sure you know EXACTLY what goes on or is hand in hand with EVERYONE in Hollywood seeing as everyone knows everything about people they DON’T know. And apparently, everyone does the same thing now??? I couldn’t have lost weight for any other reason just because of the industry I’m in? I’m not trying to be rude, but I am trying to let you know that telling someone how something happened to them AFTER they told you what actually happened (only the person it happened to would know) is shitty and completely arrogant. I don’t need to explain myself to anyone. No one does. However, I want to cut this shit out of my thread right now. I think it definitely counts as hating on someone when you completely ignore the truth coming from the actual person, to just follow your own fantasy narrative.”
