The latest in a slew of celebrity breakups is one of our fave couples of all time: Ariana Grande and Mac Miller.
Insiders close to the pair told TMZ that while the singers have decided to part ways, they “remain the closest of friends.”
They reportedly decided to end their relationship some time ago as a result of hectic work schedules which are about to get a helluva lot more hectic as Ari gears up to release her new album Sweetener.
The insiders add that the pair “love each other dearly and that will continue to be the case but, again … just as close friends”.
Ari officially announced that she was dating the singer in September 2016 and they’ve gotten notably closer ever since and frequently appeared on each other’s social media.
But the reason why this breakup hits us particularly hard is because Mac was there for Ari during the horrific attack on her Manchester concert.
The star cancelled his own tour dates and was by her side throughout the whole ordeal.
So we’re happy to hear that the pair still remain close friends even though they’re not together anymore!
It’s good to know love isn’t completely dead…
