There’s no doubt that Hype House residents Charli D’Amelio and Addison Rae are living their best lives at the moment (well, as much someone can be without leaving the house!)

Not only are they freakin’ gorge and talented, but they’re the absolute top of their game as two of TikTok’s most successful stars.

But, it seems that not everyone has positive things to say about Charli and Addison — as they’ve been forced to clap back at nasty body shamers. Ugh.

Yesterday, Charli D’Amelio took to Twitter to slam haters who had been commenting on her videos.

“STOP TALKING ABOUT MY BODY! It’s not your place to tell me if i’m losing weight or gaining weight,” she wrote. “Why don’t we all just be respectful and understand that we should just be kind and uplift everyone instead of trying to bring others down and i’ve seen these videos about me my friends and complete strangers but it doesn’t matter who you’re doing it to—it’s never okay and I feel like I really needed to say that i love you all but please stop!!”

In response to Charli’s clapback, BB angel Addison Rae jumped to her friend’s defence.

“It is not your job to judge the appearance of another persons face and/or body,” she tweeted. “I always see people say ‘welcome to the real world’ or ‘stop being so sensitive’ when someone is hurt by the words of others….when we really should be telling the person who said it to stop feeling the need to judge another persons image/life decisions.”

It comes just a week after Addison was force to address internet body shamers of her own.

“I’ve seen 5-10 tweets & tiktoks today talking negatively about my body and weight. It makes me feel insecure, but luckily I’m looking at it in a different light. I’ve been very motivated to start eating better and working out everyday to become the healthiest version of myself!” Addison explained.

She added “It definitely hurts to see people on my fyp calling me “a whale” and saying “she’s fat now” and I just want to encourage everyone who hears these things about themselves to love yourself!! If you are healthy and happy, do NOT listen to these hurtful comments. You are perfect.”

We LOVE fact that Addison not only tactfully clapped back at trolls, but also used her platform to spread her message of body positivity.

The whole situation has left us with just one question: What the actual F is wrong with people on the internet, feeling the need to call literal teenage girls fat? Not to mention, ones that are slim and fit by any standards!? SMH.

Whether or not the girls have gained weight in self-iso is precisely none of our business — but all we can hope is that they continue living their best life (even when that involves chicken nugs) and spreading the positivity the world needs right now.
