While Lizzie seemed to be valiantly defending her friend, bride Stacey Hampton from Hayley's verbal attacks on her legal degree and children, Hayley and fellow bride Mishel Karen have claimed that it didn't go down like that at all, and Lizzie needs to take more of the heat.
Lizzie defended Stacey from Hayley's remarks.

After the episode aired, Mishel started a conversation with Hayley on Instagram: "I think that Lizzie got such a good edit? How did they not show her attacking you?"
Hayley responded: "Thanks so much for saying that. I honestly didn't expect anyone to come out and say it. Let's face it, she is [Nine's] darling from this season. They're not going to show her second chance at redemption in a negative light.
"Mind you, she's had a major personality change this season. The truth wouldn't fit that. The order of the events were wrong too."
Mishel went on to slam the show producers and their heavy editing this season.
She continued: 'The editing tonight... it is the fakest fake TV! I am like a magician! I am popping in and out of [scenes] like Houdini. Every episode is a surprise! No one knows what is really going to happen. Reality NOT reality tv.'
Mishel has slammed the network for its editing.

Hayley didn't come out looking too good after this fight.

Interestingly, viewers can see the editing fail in plain sight, with the glass that was allegedly thrown vanishing from the scene when Lizzie was in Hayley's face. KC Osborne, another bride, was also seen sitting next to Hayley before the attack, only to disappear in the next scene when Lizzie was right next to her.
