Last year when we announced that the iPhone 8 and 8 plus was available in grey, silver and gold but not rose gold, y’all were pretty damn devo.
And while that ain’t changing any time soon, Apple has just announced that a brand new colour for the device is coming our way: RED.
A portion of proceeds for all Product Red purchases go directly to Global Fund HIV/AIDS grants that provide testing, counselling, treatment and prevention programs with a specific focus on eliminating transmission of the virus from mothers to their babies.
Apple has been involved in this cause since 2006 and has reportedly donated more than $160 million already.
You’ll remember that Apple released a series of red iPhones last year with a matte finish, but this year they are shiny and glassy.
While unforch there won’t be a red iPhone X, apple has released a special leather case for the device via Product Red.
The flaming red designs will be available in Australia tomorrow.
