Instagram and now Facebook might have totally ripped off their iconic Stories concept but Snapchat has just hit back with their most EPIC update yet!

The tech giant has officially unveiled World Lenses and it’s the feature we’ve ALL been waiting for! Although the lens concept is quite old, it’s now been upgraded with new 3D augmented reality experiences and it’s SO cool!

Basically, the new feature will make it look like Snapchat animations are appearing IRL, kinda like Pokémon GO.

All you have to do to use it is open your Snap camera and select the rear-facing mode (soz selfie lovers) and tap the screen. A bunch of different filters will pop up, including a giant rainbow, floating “OMG” and a dancing mushroom that turns your room into an actual disco!

And unlike past lenses, each filter now has multiple options to try out. Just keep tapping the screen to go through the different options and you can turn your rainbow into a giant ice block or coffee mug, for example.
