Pretty sure we can all agree that our lives changed for the better when Instagram introduced the Stories function, right?
And while it’s great that we can reply to people’s Stories to share our thoughts and LOLs, fans have been petitioning for a ‘like’ button or something similar – and Instagram may have finally answered their call!
Clever Twitter user @wongmjane, a computer science student who’s been sifting through Instagram’s code, has unearthed a whole lotta new features that Instagram is currently testing, including a reactions function, just like Facebook statuses.
As this intel was obtained by ~devious~ means, there’s no official word as to when (or if) this function will officially be rolled out anytime soon.
But in case the powers that be at Instagram are reading this: we’re giving this function a big fat LOVE reaction!
