Brody Jenner and his girlfriend of five years, Kaitlynn Carter tied to knot in Bali, Indonesia, over the weekend.
Unlike most grooms, Brody didn’t have the support from his father Caitlyn Jenner on the big day.
“It was a big disappointment,” Brody admitted.
“Especially considering that she had known about the wedding for a year,” he told People.
Caitlyn planned on attending his son’s wedding, however last minute “work commitments” made it impossible to make the trip. During that time, Caitlyn made her public debut with transgender girlfriend Sophia Hutchins at a ball instead.
Caitlyn plans to throw the couple a post-wedding party in Los Angeles this summer, the U.S. publication reports.
Also absent from Brody’s beach wedding were his younger sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
“We sent them an invite but we just never heard anything back,” Brody told People. “Well, they’ll be missed. I would have loved to have had them there.”
Back in February, Brody was asked about the surprise arrival of Kylie’s daughter Stormi Webster. To which he replied, “Well, to be honest, I didn’t even know she was pregnant for the entire pregnancy,” TMZ reports. “Now I found out and would love to see her.”
