James Charles has apologised for sexually harassing Shawn Mendes

However, some people believe he took his obsession a little too far, which has caused him to publicly apologise to Shawn on social media.

It all began when Shawn started a live stream on Instagram, to show off his juggling skills. James popped into the stream and cheekily wrote, "Can u juggle me like that."

After he left his comment, Shawn ended the live stream, which has made fans believe that James made him super uncomfortable.

Another fan confirmed this theory, after revealing that they attending a secret session with Shawn, who supposedly said he sees James' comments all the time and doesn't like the "weird sh*t" he writes on his page constantly.

After hearing the news, James took to Twitter to apologise and explain himself. 

"my comments on friend’s & boy’s content have always been light hearted & in a joking manner. I’ve been supporting @shawnmendes since vine & am a fan like anyone else, & would never want to make anyone uncomfortable. Im upset, embarrassed, and sorry if he felt sexually harassed."

After all that, it turns out that Shawn slid into James' DMs to let him know that the whole thing had been blown out of proportion, and that he finds his comments totally funny.

James shared the messages. "Hey James! Sorry about all this, I’ve never said I don’t like you or that you make me uncomfortable. Your comments actually make me laugh and I love them! Hope you’re all good xx"
