Teigen posted the Instagram Story on Sunday, explaining that, "A few of my friends keep having to tell people that I really got my implants out—because no one believes it." Teigen then adjusted her yellow Myra Swim bikini top to reveal the matching vertical scars on her breasts.
As well as the swimsuit pic, Teigen also shared a photo from inside the operating room. While her face is covered, the photo shows the guide-markings on Teigen's chest and her fresh stitches. "Trust me lol," she wrote over the post.
Teigen likely had her surgery in the past month or so after announcing she was planning the implant removal back in May.
"A lot of people are understandably curious (and nosey!) so I’ll just say it here: I’m getting my boobs out!" She explained that while she’d enjoyed them, she’d grown tired of them.
“They’ve been great to me for many years but I’m just over it. I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort! No biggie!”
We're glad she's having what looks like a smooth recovery, in spite of the current drama surrounding her social media feeds.
