In an Instagram story that pretty much tells you everything you need to know about Teigen's funny, self-deprecating style, she posted a picture of the commemorative cake. Two impressive boobs, a headstone that reads 'RIP 2006 - 2020' and a generous amount of white frosting and frilly lace decorates the hefty cake.
Teigen tagged her friend, talent manager Meghan Mackenzie and Mackenzie's partner Luke Dillon, which makes us think this might have been a gift? Beautiful.
It's not the first time the Cravings author has used Instagram for the important work of keeping the public updated about what's going on with her chest. Teigen first announced that she was having the reduction surgery in a post on May 27th, sharing a topless picture of herself (nips censored) with the news.
"A lot of people are understandably curious (and nosey!) so I’ll just say it here: I’m getting my boobs out!" She explained that while she'd enjoyed them, she'd grown tired of them, "They’ve been great to me for many years but I’m just over it. I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort! No biggie!"
And, because she knows we care, assured everyone not to worry, "So don’t worry about me! All good. I’ll still have boobs, they’ll just be pure fat. Which is all a tit is in the first place. A dumb, miraculous bag of fat." Truly.
Her kid's sweet messages of encouragement clearly demonstrate they inherited their mum's sense of humour. One touching card from her daughter Luna reads, "have fun pulling your boobs out. Love Luna." Absolute poetry.
Teigen shared that her surgery went "perfectly" and she's now back at home with her beautiful fam.
