Anna Cathcart spilled the tea on her fave foundation…

xo, Kitty

It’s official: our fave savage Covey sister is coming back for season two of XO, Kitty (although filming has only just started). That is of course, none other than the stunning Anna Cathcart.

Since jet-setting off to South Korea to film her show, Cathcart’s love for all things beauty has grown. With South Korea being the skincare capital of the world Cathcart was able to pick up a few skin-loving tips and even gained a new found love for facials.

But even though she might be away from home, some of her all-time fave beauty-buys remained the same. And while we can’t say they’re the easiest for us Aussies to pick up, we trust her judgement (and flawless skin) when it comes to foundation.

Oh and lip gloss – she’s a (coming soon to MECCA) Glossier Balm Dotcom ($26 at Glossiergirl through and through.

But back to how does she create such a flawless base? Let’s find out…

Anna Cathcart’s Fave Foundation

Like we said, it’s not widely available (and we’re crying too). But if your love for Cathcart runs as deep as ours (we swear our sass burns twin flame style), you’ll want to pick up this classic base.

The star tells Allure that she’s “loyal” to the mattifying product. So if you’re keen to follow suit, then you can find the ultra-affordable Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation ($10.03 at iHerbonline.

Foundation Alternatives

If you’d rather be able to shade match before making the skin-perfecting commitment, but still want to have a similar finish as Cathcart these are our top two picks: Rimmel London Lasting Matte Foundation ($21.95 at Chemist Warehouseand Maybelline New York Fit Me Matte & Poreless Mattifying Liquid Foundation ($25.99 at Chemist Warehouse).

Both offer a similar lightweight buildable matte coverage that mirrors the feel and finish of Cathcart’s OG pick.

Now it’s clear Cathcart has reliable taste in foundation; we just can’t wait to see what we think of Kitty’s taste in boyfriends when the next season hits Netflix…
