Ariana's new song "Boyfriend" is actually a collaboration with Social House, making it even more ironic if she is dating a band member.
After Mikey Foster posted a sweet tribute to the Thank U, Next mastermind on her birthday in June, fans started to speculate about whether or not the two musicians were more than just friends and collaborators.
“Ur one of the most incredible people the universe has to offer. I hope this year offers u nothing but the joy u deserve. Love u. happy birthday 💙,” Mikey captioned an adorable baby photo of Grande. Replying the singer in the comments section on social media, with a series of emojis, Ariana wrote: “love u sooooooo much”
Grande and Foster were also recently photographed together walking arm in arm, adding fuel to the dating rumours fire. Now, a source has told People that their "Boyfriend" collaboration has indeed blossomed a romance between the two artists. The Blast were the first to report on the news.
Ariana Grande has been very vocal about the struggles she has dealt with in her personal life, most specifically regarding her romantic life. After becoming engaged to Pete Davidson on June 11, 2018, after a short four weeks of dating, the couple went on to break up after three months, confirming the split on October 15, 2018.
Shortly after the split, Ariana Grande revealed it was the shock death of her ex-boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller, that led her to public split with fiancé Pete Davidson.
In a recent interview for Vogue‘s August cover story, Ariana admitted that her relationship with Pete was an “amazing distraction” after a heartbreaking breakup with late rapper Mac Miller.
“It was frivolous and fun and insane and highly unrealistic, and I loved him, and I didn’t know him,” she told the publication.
Right now, Mikey Foster and his Social House bandmate Scootie Anderson are on Ariana's Sweetener/Thank U, Next tour. Foster opened up last year to Refinery29 about working with the popstar on her massive hit "Thank U, Next."
Mikey admitted that the songs success left him "speechless."
Neither Ariana Grande or Mikey Foster have commented on the new dating rumours.
