Ariana Grande has gone through what would be some of the toughest experiences anyone could ever go through: surviving a terrorist attack, having an ex-boyfriend die, and calling off an engagement... all in the public eye.
It's enough to take a huge toll on the strongest person, yet Ariana still feels guilty for suffering from anxiety.
While performing Sweetener for her BBC special, Ariana chatted to host Davina McCall about mental health really candidly.
“I almost feel guilty that I have it [anxiety] because it’s just in your head and it’s just so crazy how powerful it is,” she explains. “You have ups and downs and sometimes you’ll go weeks at a time where you will be crushing it and there will be no anxiety… and then something will happen that can trigger it and then you have a couple of down days.”
She continued, “The most important thing is to remember that…everybody has this. Talk to your loved ones, reach out to people, especially your friends online. Reach out to each other.”
