TMZ is now reporting hat Marie has been charged with felony domestic violence.
According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Marie has been hit with one count of felony corporal injury to a spouse, and it set to be arraigned today.
If she is convicted she could spend up to four years in prison.
Marie’s boyfriend was apparently "shocked" that police arrested her, thinking they would simply "diffuse the situation," not take her to jail. He apparently "begged cops not to take her away" and posted the $50,000 bond so she could be released after her arrest.
He did not want to press charges, but that has clearly in the last month.
A source close to Marie has told TMZ she was on a new medication and had wine at dinner on the night of the incident, which "resulted in a bad reaction," causing her violent outburst.
Marie hasn't been active on social media since the altercation.
