However, weeks later while celebrating the 4th of July, Sarah is looking healthy and happy. In her gorgeous white bikini, Sarah shows off her battle scars proudly.
“#scarsondisplay” she wrote on an Instagram Story of her lying in the sun. “Actual candid before a ‘photo,” she captioned another, in which she posed for the camera.
Sarah was hospitalised after she had a kidney transplant 6 years ago, due to her battle with kidney dysplasia.
In 2012, she was criticised for losing too much weight because of her health. "No one’s head should be bigger than their body but considering I’ve basically been on bed rest for the past few months, I’ve lost a lot of muscle mass. My circumstances have put me in a place where I’m not in control of what my body looks like. So I strive to be as healthy as possible, as everyone should," she wrote on Twitter last May. "I don’t mind when you say that I look pregnant. Or fat. Because I know that my face is swollen from my medication that is saving my life."
We're so glad to see her doing better.
