Variety has learned that the ex-Twilight star is in talks to play the leading role in Matt Reeves upcoming superhero film 'The Batman' which is set to hit theatres on June 25, 2021.
The news comes after the departure of Ben Affleck, who left the iconic role earlier in the year.
Pattinson is not the only one in talks to play the bat-slinging hero with X-Men Dark Phoenix's Nicholas Hoult also making the shortlist.
