Who is Robert Pattinson dating? A complete breakdown of his romantic history.

About three things we are absolutely positive... First, Edward Cullen was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him – and we didn’t know how dominant that part may be – that thirsted for our blood. And third, that we are unconditionally and irrevocably in love with the actor that plays him, Robert Pattinson.

Whether you love him from his Twilight days, or from his role as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (RIP), there’s no doubt RPatz had a chokehold on us from 2005 to 2012.

If not for his on-screen charm, it was the actor’s chaotic personality. Let’s not forget when he told the American Today Show that a clown died the first time he went to the circus, only to reveal a week later that he made it all up because he had "nothing interesting to say".

Or the time the Water for Elephants star was being interviewed for a ✨ fancy ✨ profile in GQ and, unprompted, decided to pitch his new food business venture called Piccoloni Cuscino, making a prototype and everything - at which point he put foil into what he insisted was an oven and not a microwave and watching it burst into flames.

OR the time he said he told Creme Magazine that he took his stalker out to dinner because he was bored.

“I just complained about everything in my life and she never came back,” Rob said. Though, after his clown story, we don’t know what to believe.

Yet, while these stories may signify huge.. um... red flags to some, there is something just so damn charming about Robert Pattison. And we’re clearly not the only ones who think so... (like our segue?).

Prior to his Twilight days, Robert was dating his neighbour and fellow drama school student, Nina Schubert. The couple split when the actor headed to Hollywood in 2006.

In 2009, Nina spoke to Stuff in New Zealand about her ex-partner, telling the publication that the actor was “still a really good friend of (hers)”.

Kristen Stewart

Ahh yes, the emo Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. After meeting on the set of Twilight, Rob and female lead Kristen Stewart (who portrayed Bella Swan in the franchise) struck up quite the publicised romance,

When filming wrapped for the final Twilight film, Breaking Dawn, Kristen was photographed making out with director of her film Snow White and the Huntsman, Rupert Sanders, who was married at the time at 19 years her senior.

It was reported that Kristen and Rob broke up not long after.

Following the scandal, the Spencer star issued a public apology.

"I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected," Kristen said in a statement. "This momentary indiscretion has jeopardised the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry."

Usually private about their relationship, Kristen spoke about her time with Rob in an interview with Howard Stern.

“We were together for year, that was my first (love),” the Twilight star said. “I was super in love with my high school boyfriend. Super f****** in love with him, but me and Rob were a little older…. He’s the best.”

In 2014, rumours swirled that RPatz was dating singer-songwriter FKA Twigs – particularly after the actor was spotted backstage at one of her shows holding roses.

While Rob told Howard Stern the couple were “kind of” engaged, they eventually called it quits in 2017.

Suki Waterhouse

A year later, Rob was reported to be dating English actress, singer, and model, Suki Waterhouse, star of the upcoming Amazon Prime adaptation of popular Taylor Jenkins Reid novel, Daisy Jones and the Six.

While the couple have been private about their relationship, Suki accompanied Robert to his first screening of The Batman.

The actor spoke about the experience with Jimmy Kimmel.

“I watched it with my girlfriend… It was really her reaction that kind of changed the entire thing,” Robert said.

“She just held my hand and just touched it right (to her cheek), and I could feel a little tear, and I was like ‘No Way!’”
